Dance Factory Wetzikon

Dance Factory has existed in Wetzikon since 1999. 

The dance school is a place for meeting and, of course, for learning to move, to rehearse the choreography to the music, and to make the steps fit for the tempo of the music. 

The goal is for participants to not only enjoy the fun and joy of creating the choreography, but also to recognize different musical styles and express themselves through physical effort and energy. Since each piece of music has a different step sequence, practice is essential.

• 1. 1999 Basic Examination with Kelly Gilet NTA 
• Year 2000: Official teacher training and examination by Iris Funkler from Germany. 
• 2000-2004 Advanced training courses with renowned dance teachers: Pedro Machado (USA), Rachel McEnaney (GB), Brian Barakauskas (USA), Lee Easton (GB). 
• 2005 -2008 Intensive technology weeks in Spain with Louis Van Hattem from NL. 
• From 2008 to 2021, lecturer responsible for teacher training in Switzerland, the umbrella organization of the SCWDA (now Swissdance).

• Course fees for adults: CHF 18.00 per lesson
• Young people (with student ID or apprentice ID): CHF 15.00 per lesson
• Children up to 15 years: CHF 10.00 per lesson
• Mother and child together CHF 25.00 per lesson
