Returns, exchanges and right of withdrawal
1. Right of return without defects in the product
1.1 Return period
Customers have the right to return products within 30 days of delivery. Timely dispatch of the return is sufficient to meet the deadline.
This voluntary right of return applies in addition to statutory rights, in particular any statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union.
1.2 Registration of the return or exchange
Returns or exchanges must be made via the Returns portal You will be logged into your customer account. Further information about the process can be found in our FAQs.
Items returned via the returns portal without prior registration may not be processed or may be processed with a delay.
1.3 Return addresses

1.4 Costs and risk of return shipping
Exercising the right of return transforms the purchase agreement into a reversal of the transaction. The services received under the purchase agreement must be returned.
The customer must bear the postage costs for return shipping.
The customer bears the costs and risk for returning a product without defects.
1.5 Condition of the returned goods
The product must be returned complete, clean, unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.
Dancing Queens reserves the right to deduct from the purchase price to be refunded or to issue an invoice for possible damage, excessive wear and tear of the products or, if agreed, shipping costs of the products.
No deduction is made if the loss in value is due to handling of the products that is necessary to determine their nature, condition and functionality.
1.6 Refund under the voluntary return policy
After receipt and inspection of the product at Dancing Queens Any purchase price already paid will be refunded to the customer immediately.
Refunds are generally issued via the same payment method used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed.
1.7 Right of retention
Dancing Queens can refuse repayment until the products are returned to Dancing Queens have been received.
2. Exchange
Exchanges must be registered via the returns portal in your customer account. After receiving your exchange request, our Customer Care Team will contact you by email and inform you about the next steps.
Even in the case of an exchange, the returned products must be complete, clean, unused, undamaged and returned in their original packaging.
3. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union
3.1 Scope
The following cancellation policy applies to consumers if the goods are delivered to a country within the European Union.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.
The statutory right of withdrawal exists independently of our voluntary 30-day return policy.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the day,

on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;

on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods, provided that you ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;

on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that goods are delivered in several partial shipments or items.
4.2 Exercising the right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement.
Please primarily use the designated online function in our shop for this purpose. Cancellation portalThis allows us to process your cancellation. If you use this online function, we will immediately confirm receipt of your cancellation by email.

You can use the sample cancellation form below. However, using this form is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.
5. Consequences of the revocation
5.1 Refund in case of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments received from you. If you cancel the entire order, we will also refund the standard delivery costs. Additional costs incurred because you chose a delivery option other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us will not be refunded.
The refund will be issued no later than 14 days from the day we receive your cancellation. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
For the refund, we will use the same payment method you used for your original order, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We will not charge any additional fees for the refund.
5.2 Return of goods after cancellation
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract.
The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires.
Please register your return via our returns portal as a priority, even after cancellation. This will allow us to process your return more quickly.

5.3 Costs of return shipping in case of cancellation
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
5.4 Compensation for Value
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.
6. Exclusion or expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the customer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer.
The right of withdrawal may expire prematurely for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
7. Damage, incorrect items or defects
Please check your order immediately upon receipt and contact us promptly via our contact form or by email to contact@dancing-queens.com, if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item.
We will review your request and find a suitable solution as quickly as possible.
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
